Happy New Year

  • by

Firstly, Happy New Year to you, and secondly thank you to all my friends and customers who have supported me in my first year.

The final few Weeks of 2022 were very busy – I had a great Christmas fair in Kendal with my friend Deb of Bare Foot Clay, and then a very busy open studio weekend for my village. It was lovely that so many of my neighbours turned out to say hello and drink mulled wine in my (very cold) studio-garage.

The cold garage – plus an unfortunate dose of a lurgy – has prevented much making action in the last three weeks, but I’ve huge numbers of ideas for 2023, and a few exciting things on order from the pottery suppliers. Very high on my list will be more swimmers mugs – pictured above. I developed these especially for the Wonderful Wild Women market in December, and they proved tremendously popular. I now need to make more, and I’m really looking forward to it.

Here’s hoping that 2023 is a better year for everyone. X
